The dads of Beagledom want to thank everyone for all their kinds words in the postings and emails we have received since Frankie' s passing. Frankie was a true gift to us, and although we only had her for a year she found her way into our hearts and will remain there forever. It's has been especially difficult this past week, but reading those postings and emails have been a comfort to us both. We know we can count on the Dogs with Blogs community to understand what we are going through. Please also know that Beagledom will back real soon, with one maybe two puppies. We know that they can't replace Frankie, but we had been looking for a puppy for a while as a companion for Frankie when she passed. Now we will have to just get two...OMG. Are we crazy, yes.. maybe. We just LOVE us some Beagles and we don't think life would be the same with out them. Stay Tuned.

awwww, we are so sorry for your loss. we didn't get to know Frankie, even though we are real life neighbors (we live in SE Everett). we are glad that you had this blog for Frankie and hope that all of those happy memories will get you through this sad time. a couple of pups won't hurt either.

Frankie was a special beagle friend that could not be replaced. Her memories will live on, as those of Peanut and Daisy Mae through the beagledom blog. Having two beagles is the greatest thing and we can't wait to meet your new beagle puppies.

We are so glad you are getting more beagles since, sadly, Frankie has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. If you can't find puppies, check with a beagle rescue group. We have known you since Daisy Mae and Peanut joined DWB and we know you guys have plenty of love in your hearts! (And we have to agree with Casper, Buddy and Nikki ... three is a nice number!)

I am really sorry for your loss. Although Frankie has been with you guys for only a short time, please take comfort that he had a great life with both of you and the wonderful memories you had together will live on forever.
