I told my dad he couldn't read anymore bloggies until he posted something on ours. We have been doing great and getting into everything. Dad says we are a hand full. Can we help it if there is all this great stuff laying around to play with? We hope everyone has a safe Holiday in the states. Dad says we get to go for a long drive in the country and maybe go fishing. What ever that is it sounds like fun.

We have been on the look out for some stinky black cat that keeps walking by our house and making faces at us, when we see it we yell at it and say bad things to it and our dads get upset with US!!! can you believe it, they say we can't bark at that black cat, what would our kitty Poppy think. We're like dad the black cat is REAL stinky not just a little stinky like Poppy. NO BARKING AT THE BLACK CAT. You know dad, sometimes you just have to act like a dog!

Hello all, it's been a while since we have been on here. Dad says he hasn't had time to supervise us while were blogging, and that we spend all our time looking at funny videos on you's tube. We are doing really good and looking forward to spending time with our dads over the holidays. They will both be home for a few days and that mean some serious lap time. Our dads say we have been up to no good lately. Things are disappearing, like my dads wallet and the camera that took this picture. It miraculously appeared with a few chew marks on it. Hi my name is Bandit and I like to run. Today I ran out the front door and went on a freedom run with my two dads chasing me. Boy was that fun.......Boy was that NOT a good idea. Dad made me come on here a swear that I will never "bolt" as he calls it again. He said if I swear to all my Dogs With Blogs friends I just might keep that promise. We'll see. I did almost get run over by some big thing with a man and doggie in it. Dad said I gave him a heart attack. SO, needless to say I am on lock down. I can't even look out the window, and you all know how much I love that. Send food, I think he plans on starving me also.

Happy New Years everyone! I'm so excited, our dads are home for another 2 days. We really like the holidays because of that. We like having them around. It also means I get to sit in the window seat more. It's my favorite thing to do other than go outside and run in circles around the yard.

Accidents happen

I've been having "accidents" in house. I just get so excited that I forget to go outside. Actually I don't think it's fair I get in trouble for going in the house, my dads do ( they have this little room all their own) and those stinky cats do ( they have this wonderfully smelly box). So why can't I? My dads have been real good though, they do scold me and I get my feelings hurt, but I know they still love me. I think Bandit and I need our own place to go in the house. We should stage a protest. It's just not Fair.

A note from a Beagledom Dad: I saw this on another site and it just broke my heart when reading it. I had to post it. We just adopted 2 beagle sisters from Seattle Beagle Rescue about a month ago. It hurts me to think our girls could have suffered this fate. I encourage anyone seeking a new companion or know of anyone seeking one to contact your local rescue organization or animal shelter.

HOW COULD YOU? By Jim Willis, 2001

When I was a puppy, I entertained you with my antics and made you laugh. You called me your child, and despite a number of chewed shoes and a couple of murdered throw pillows, I became your best friend.

Whenever I was "bad," you'd shake your finger at me and ask "How could you?" -- but then you'd relent and roll me over for a bellyrub. My housebreaking took a little longer than expected, because you were terribly busy, but we worked on that together.

I remember those nights of nuzzling you in bed and listening to your confidences and secret dreams, and I believed that life could not be any more perfect. We went for long walks and runs in the park, car rides, stops for ice cream (I only got the cone because "ice cream is bad for dogs" you said), and I took long naps in the sun waiting for you to come home at the end of the day.

Gradually, you began spending more time at work and on your career, and more time searching for a human mate. I waited for you patiently, comforted you through heartbreaks and disappointments, never chided you about bad decisions, and romped with glee at your homecomings, and when you fell in love.

She, now your wife, is not a "dog person" -- still I welcomed her into our home, tried to show her affection, and obeyed her. I was happy because you were happy.

Then the human babies came along and I shared your excitement. I was fascinated by their pinkness, how they smelled, and I wanted to mother them, too. Only she and you worried that I might hurt them, and I spent most of my time banished to another room, or to a dog crate. Oh, how I wanted to love them, but I became a "prisoner of love."

As they began to grow, I became their friend. They clung to my fur and pulled themselves up on wobbly legs, poked fingers in my eyes, investigated my ears, and gave me kisses on my nose. I loved everything about them and their touch -- because your touch was now so infrequent -- and I would've defended them with my life if need be. I would sneak into their beds and listen to their worries and secret dreams, and together we waited for the sound of your car in the driveway.

There had been a time, when others asked you if you had a dog, that you produced a photo of me from your wallet and told them stories about me. These past few years, you just answered "yes" and changed the subject. I had gone from being "your dog" to "just a dog," and you resented every expenditure on my behalf.

Now, you have a new career opportunity in another city, and you and they will be moving to an apartment that does not allow pets. You've made the right decision for your "family," but there was a time when I was your only family.

I was excited about the car ride until we arrived at the animal shelter. It smelled of dogs and cats, of fear, of hopelessness. You filled out the paperwork and said "I know you will find a good home for her." They shrugged and gave you a pained look. They understand the realities facing a middle-aged dog, even one with "papers."

You had to pry your son's fingers loose from my collar as he screamed "No, Daddy! Please don't let them take my dog!" And I worried for him, and what lessons you had just taught him about friendship and loyalty, about love and responsibility, and about respect for all life.

You gave me a good-bye pat on the head, avoided my eyes, and politely refused to take my collar and leash with you. You had a deadline to meet and now I have one, too. After you left, the two nice ladies said you probably knew about your upcoming move months ago and made no attempt to find me another good home. They shook their heads and asked "How could you?"

They are as attentive to us here in the shelter as their busy schedules allow. They feed us, of course, but I lost my appetite days ago. At first, whenever anyone passed my pen, I rushed to the front, hoping it was you that you had changed your mind -- that this was all a bad dream... or I hoped it would at least be someone who cared, anyone who might save me.

When I realized I could not compete with the frolicking for attention of happy puppies, oblivious to their own fate, I retreated to a far corner and waited. I heard her footsteps as she came for me at the end of the day, and I padded along the aisle after her to a separate room.

A blissfully quiet room. She placed me on the table and rubbed my ears, and told me not to worry. My heart pounded in anticipation of what was to come, but there was also a sense of relief. The prisoner of love had run out of days. As is my nature, I was more concerned about her. The burden which she bears weighs heavily on her, and I know that, the same way I knew your every mood.

She gently placed a tourniquet around my foreleg as a tear ran down her cheek. I licked her hand in the same way I used to comfort you so many years ago. She expertly slid the hypodermic needle into my vein. As I felt the sting and the cool liquid coursing through my body, I lay down sleepily, looked into her kind eyes and murmured "How could you?"

Perhaps because she understood my dog speak, she said "I'm so sorry." She hugged me, and hurriedly explained it was her job to make sure I went to a better place, where I wouldn't be ignored or abused or abandoned, or have to fend for myself -- a place of love and light so very different from this earthly place.

And with my last bit of energy, I tried to convey to her with a thump of my tail that my "How could you?" was not directed at her. It was directed at you, My Beloved Master, I was thinking of you. I will think of you and wait for you forever. May everyone in your life continue to show you so much loyalty.

Bandit here....I'm in the dog house as they say. Today one of my dads played hookey from work and he took me and Bug out to a doggie park and for a walk. The dog park was great, even if no other doggies showed up. There were lots of new things to sniff. We then went for a long walk and went back home. Just when dad was taking Bug and I out of the car I "accidentally" slipped out of my harness and went on a freedom run. Now I really like to play chase and dad was great to indulge me, ALTHOUGH I don't think he had as much fun as I did. We ran all over the neighborhood all the while dragging Bug along with us. When dad finally caught me....well it wasn't pretty. So I'm TRYING to lay low for a while while dad cools off. When my other dad came home from work I got a long lecture and no amount of kissies would shut him up. Geeze I don't know what the big deal was, I love running around and checking things out. But I don't think I'm going to be able to do that again for a while. Dad said something about obedience training and lockdown. I don't know what that is but it doesn't sound good. I even tried the "look" with both dads and it didn't work. Dad says I'm trouble with a capital T. But I know they still love me. How can they not?

Hello I'm Bug (aka Luv Bug). My sister Bandit and I have been here at our new dads for a couple of weeks now and boy are we having fun. They take us everywhere with them and there are alot of new things to see and snif. They even took us shopping to the doggie toy store and got us new harnesses and leashes and let us pick out a toy and some treats. Boy our dads are cool, even when they scold us for getting into things. And we get into Everything. I'm beginning to think that my sissy's name is really "Bandit NO!".They love us anyway and let us snuggle up with them and give them lots of kissies. We are "almost" getting along with those stinky cats. Baneda just stops and looks at us and try's to hypnotize us. I think it works sometimes because I just freeze into place and my mind wanders. Poppy on the other paw likes to chase us and we LOOOOOOVE to chase and be chased. For some reason I don't think she thinks it's as fun as we do. Oh well. We are having a great time and feeling right at home. I hope everyone in the USA has a great July 4th.

Hi my name is Bandit and I didn't do it. Well actually I probably did. My new dads say I was appropriately named. I really didn't know what they were talking about until I looked up my named in the wordy book thingy. It says a bandit is an outlaw that lives by plundering. Well I think outlaw is a little harsh, but plunder.......guilty as charged. Can I help it if I'm naturally curious, can I help it if they leave food out everywhere for me (even if I have to climb on the big counter to get to it), can I help it if there is so much new stuff to see here that I some times make a mess checking things out?No I can't. My new dads have been real good so far about it, I just use my innocent face to distract them. Here it is, they took a picture of me doing it unknowingly. I can tell they are such pushovers already.

Out of Control !!!!!

The girls are settling in real nice. They are still working things out with the cats, but their not really the problem. The cats are not playing nice. I have to say getting woke up in the middle of the night with loud barking in your ear because one of the cats jumped on the bed is....fun. Can't get enough of that. The girls have more energy than we every though possible. They are getting into EVERYTHING! And they do it at the speed of light. We are having SO much fun. We have our hands full and are loving it. Here are a few pictures of the girls in a quieter moment.

We are Soooo excited to introduce to you the newest members of Beagledom.

Luv Bug and Bandit.
They are beagle sisters that we adopted from the Seattle Beagle Rescue. They just came to live with us today and they are still getting adjusted to their new home and yard. Plus they had never meet any cats before so that part has been fun. Actually is has went pretty well, the girls are more curious than anything, but our ol'cats are not too keen on dogs sniffing their butts. But we are sure things will be fine. Here are a few pictures we have taken of them, they are very active and on the go so getting them to stop and pose for pictures will be something we will have to work on. Bandit is the one with the most black and Luv Bug the brownish red one. We think they are beautiful.

The dads of Beagledom want to thank everyone for all their kinds words in the postings and emails we have received since Frankie' s passing. Frankie was a true gift to us, and although we only had her for a year she found her way into our hearts and will remain there forever. It's has been especially difficult this past week, but reading those postings and emails have been a comfort to us both. We know we can count on the Dogs with Blogs community to understand what we are going through. Please also know that Beagledom will back real soon, with one maybe two puppies. We know that they can't replace Frankie, but we had been looking for a puppy for a while as a companion for Frankie when she passed. Now we will have to just get two...OMG. Are we crazy, yes.. maybe. We just LOVE us some Beagles and we don't think life would be the same with out them. Stay Tuned.

We lost Frankie very unexpectantly this morning. She had not been well the last few months. Little did we know she had a undiagnosed heart condition. Her little heart just gave out. We only had her for about a year but we fell in love with her and will miss her dearly.

Hey there everyone!!! I know it's been a while since I have been on here but allot has been going on in Beagledom. One of my dads got a new hiney. AROOO. He actually got his hip replaced, but I tell everyone he got a new hiney. The same day he went into the hospital I did also. I had not been felling well and dad came home from the hospital from seeing my other dad and I had gotten really sick.He took me to see Dr Anabelle and she said I had a bacterial infection. EWWWW sounds gross and it actually was, it was coming out both ends as my dad would say. I stayed in the hospital for 2 days and then me and my dad with the new hiney came home the same day. My other dad sure had his hands full and he was sick also. We all just layed around for week and did nothing. Then I got sick again and went back to see Dr Anabelle and she said I had a upper respiratory infection and also decided I have allergies too, so I have to take these yucky pills twice a day. But thats ok because I don't sneeze as much. We are all doing better now, my dad with the new hiney is doing good, he has been home with me all day and it's been nice to snuggle on the couch with him. He has also been taking me to the park and for walks to make his new hiney feel better. So that has been real nice.

Dad said he was taking a "time out" from the computer, I just didn't realize that it meant I wasn't going to be able to post anything during that time out. Ok, so there was no fringe or leopard skin but I look like a line-backer in my new coat. My dads said I looked sooo cute in it, and I have to admit it keeps me warm. Hey guys, not much going on here. Just hanging out with the dads and trying to keep warm. It's been kinda cold here and since I don't have much fur I get the shivers when I go out. Dad says were going shopping today for a coat for me. I hope I get something cool like what Jazz and Dixie wear, but dad said something about fringe and leopard skin. I hope not! Ester Williams watch out!!!

Frankie here....I don't know who Ester Williams is but I do know my crazy sissy Miss Baneda. She was trying to get to one of my dads who at the time was in the middle of the pool and she just jumped right in. To say she was not amused is an understatement. The pool had never been there before since it's new this year. It's one of those blue ones you blow up. I wasn't suppose to say that, my dad said "make it sounds like a big pool when you tell it" but it's not. Anyway for a ol'girl of 19 Baneda sure took it well. She spent the rest of the night grooming herself. She sure is pretty for a stinky ol' cat.

So I'm not perfect after all, atleast thats what my dad tell me. Last nite I got in trouble, I just couldn't help myself. Dad was cooking something on the outside cooker and it smelled Sooooo good. SO, while my dads were watching a movie I sneaked into the kitchen and pull the goodstuff off the counter and tried to eat it. I guess it made a big noise when it hit the floor because I heard "what the heck was that!" coming from the front room. Next thing I know my dad was standing over me and yelling NO! I heard my dads talking saying they didn't know weather to scold me or praise me for finally doing a "dog" thing. Can you beleive it! Boy did I have them fooled. Ha Ha! My dads are such softies anyway, they let me snuggle up next to them on the couch. Boy do I have them wrapped around my little paw.

Nothing much going on here, the weather has been real nice and I have been out in yard all weekend and have even had some time to work on my tan. Don't want no tan lines so sans bikini. Well guys the bath time went ok..........the only good thing I can say is that it was over quickly and my dads sure got a big kick out me all wet. I really don't know what the big deal is? I have to admit I do feel better and I really like all the fussing my dads gave me. They sure do like me! Of course they had to take a picture of me in the bath. How embarrassing.

Well my dads took me to see Dr Annabelle, the bestest doggie Dr in the whole world. She checked me out all over and did some things to me I wont mention on here, but hopefully she wont have to do them again for a while. :) I got a few shots, which didn't hurt and she said I had worms. Ewwww! But the shot she gave me will take them all away. I was wondering why my butt tickled? Ha Ha! Funny thing she gave my dads 2 nasty ole pills to give to the stinky cats, just in case they have them also. I can't wait to laugh at them when they have to take the pills. Dr Annabell was sure nice, she gave me treats and everyone there was real nice to me. We then went for a ride in the car and I got to hang my head out the window a few times. That was really cool, but my darn ears are so long they kept slapping me in the face. We went home and I layed in the sun in the back yard and watched the birds in the birdfeeder. They sing pretty songs.My dad has also been saying their going to give me a bath......I wonder what that is? I hope it's good to eat. Oh my Gosh, my dads said everyone on Dogs with Blogs were great and they weren't kidding. It's great making new friends and hearing from everyone all over the place. It's been fun to read all the nice comments. My dads took me for a ride in the car today, which I really like. We went and bought plants for the garden and then took them home and stuck them in the ground. I tried eating some of them, but they tasted funny. My dads didn't seem to mind. We also went to a place with alot of other dogs and cats and got me a funny little tag to put on my collar, my dad said I was legal now. I didn't know I was illegal? What the heckie is a license? You can't eat it I know that for sure. When we got home those smelly cats were still spitting at me and were mad at my dads still. They sure do stink.

Hello there from Beagledom. My name is Frankie and I am so glad to be here in Beagledom. My dads brought me home a few days ago and I have been trying to get settled in. I'm 4 years old and I got adopted by my dads from a great family who had to let me go because they moved and couldn't have me anymore where they moved . I am a little sad and miss them all, but my new dads are great and have been going out of their way to make me feel at home. I know I have some big paws to fill ( I read the blog) but I think I'm up to it. If I could only get those stinky cats to quit spitting at me things will be fine. They were great at first... but I think their just jealous now and thought I was just visiting. But I'm here to stay and they will just have to get used to it. My new dads have been sticking this grey thingy in my face all the time and it makes a weird sound and a bright light. But after that we get a picture of me. Check em out.

We are so sad to say we lost our Daisy Mae yesterday. Exactly 1 week from when we lost our Peanut. Our house is so quite.......... We do take comfort in the fact that they are together and running free. They both will be sorely missed. Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts.

Sorry we haven't posted in a while. Daisy Mae has been very sick and we thought we were going to lose her. She has congestive heart failure. But being Daisy Mae the "wonder dog" she seems to be doing real good and all of us in beagledom are hopefull that things will get better. Peanut also has been having some "issues" but we finally found out that she has thyroid problems and they gave her a pill and it seems to be working good. All of our girls are getting up there in years (15 for the dogs and 16 and 18 for the cats) and the last few months have been a challange for us. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers and I hope all of our Dogs with Blogs friends have a Happy and Safe Holiday.

Boy is it yucky out and boy do I ever have cabin fever. It has been raining and raining and now there is a little of that white stuff falling. My dads don't like to let me out when it's like this but I don't really care. I like to dig and root around in the mud and leaves, I don't even care if I get all wet. Besides my dad's fuss all over me when I come back in and have a nice towel to dry me off. Now Peanut would not be caught dead outside when it's like this, she will only go out when it's extremely necessary..if you know what I mean. She's such a princess and doesn't like getting her feet all wet. I'm like "YOUR A DOG". Ha ha ha. Anyway all is well in Beagledom, my dads are getting ready for Christmas and brought a real cool tree into the house, it's fun to sit under it when the lights are on. Hey all, just wanted to say hi to all our friends, we haven't been posting much lately. Our dads have both been real busy and have not been letting us have any computer time. But they have been giving us lots of treats and thats all that counts. Baneda has been a little under the weather but she seems to be getting better now. She was peeing everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE. I'm just glad we didn't get blamed for any of that. But she has to take medicine for a while, which she hates and makes my dads chase her all over the house when it's time to take it. She even ran outside once and wouldn't come back in.....it was so funny. I think my dads are getting ready to feed an army. They brought home alot of food and said something about turkey-day? Hmmm, well here's hoping we get some of that food. Have a great holiday from all of us at Beagledom.

Hey guys.....All is well in Beagledom. Dad has had some computer issues (whatever that is) and were finally back on-line. I'll try to get you all up to speed on the happenings in beagledom these last few weeks. We had the dreaded bath last weekend, our dads took us to this place they go on and on about were they can give us a bath and not have to clean up after it. In my opinion neither of us needed a bath, were were finally getting to smelling pretty good and they go and give us a bath with this real stinky soap (yuck! vanilla). Anyway we got a good bone out of the whole deal and they even went though the drive up food place and we got french fries...yum! Not much else going on, it's raining alot and neither of us like to go out and get our feet wet unless it's absolutely necessary(if you know what I mean). But that's tipical for us here in the northwest this time of year. Baneda has a birthday coming up this week, she will be 18. She sure is doing good for an old gal. One of my dads birthday is this week also, he's pretty old too. But he said I'm not allowed to say how old on here. Hey I wanted to ask everybody a question......how many of you are dressed up for Halloween by your human companions? My dad has been trying to get me into this one with alot of feathers and no way will I let him put it on. The feathers taste good though. If anyone has any pictures of them in thier Halloween costume it would be cool to post them now, Halloween is coming up real soon and even though I don't like to wear the costumes myself I love to look at others in thiers. Well we had better run for now, our dads are taking us for a ride in the car to get something called Pumpkins?

Dad mowed the grass this weekend. It's been a while, because our grass was all dead. Up here in the northwest contray to popular belief it dosn't rain all the time and it gets pretty hot and dry in the summer. But the rain is back and the grass grew enough for dad to mow it. The reason why I'm meantioning it is because I LOVE to eat grass. I can graze for hours in the back yard after dad mows it. And he dosn't seem to mind because he leaves it all in a nice pile in the back where he grows stuff. Dad calls that pile compost and gets all weird when I get into it, but I can't help it, they throw all kinds of good stuff in it. Heck I even roll in it when he's not looking. Peanut dosn't really care about the grass, she's too busy working on her tan. Oh my god she loves the sun.....not me I prefer a nice bush or freshly dug hole in one of dads flower beds. Here is a picture dad took of me after one of my yard feasts. He called me a goat and tried to pull all of the grass out of my teeth.

PS. The cat has been taken care of, I don't think she will try to blog on here for a while. But she IS part of Beagledom so no promises guys.

SO, because no one fessed up we all got put on restriction from the computer. Which really makes me mad because it means in can't surf the internet after dad goes to sleep.Pfftttt. But everything is ok, Daisy Mae is trying all her best moves to no avail. And I have been pestering the daylights out of them both, but they will not budge. I'll just tell them that I saw Baneda on here and she must have posted using my name. She would do that I swear. But dad was pretty mad about the rug. I hate to break it to him but it wasn't the first time for that rug, I guess he didn't step in that one in his stocking feet. He Hee. Well back out to the backyard to lay in the sun. Laters......

( can you believe it) and I like to stick my heard through when my dads are trying to keep me out of the kitchen. It makes them coo like those annoying birds in the back yard .

( I totally don't blame you Opy for eating that bird, if I could catch one, I would eat one too)
Plus it gives me these great dreadlocks.

1. I can work both my dads into thinking I can't move until they bring me a bone first. I love this trick, they hate it. Tooo bad!
2. I can bark at cows (and only cows) like nobody else.
3. I freak out in the car when the sheet covering the back seat starts blowing around and scaring me. I actually hate the window open, but they just don't get it.
4.I bark at Baneda when she tries to take my bed.
5. I like to walk up to my dad and stand real close when ever I need to float a boomby. Aunt Phyl will love this :)

Dasiy Mae

1 I snore so loud the neighbors tell my dads their making too much noise at night.
2. I snort like a little piggy when I'm sniffing around.
3.I can sing really good songs and it makes my dads stuff me full of cookies.
4. I can go in a complete circle when I'm scratching my butt on the carpet. My dads hate this but it makes them smile everytime, which is why I do it..........yeah right, it feels good on my butt. Arooo

Peanut here.... I wanted to let you all know about Daisy Mae. Dad said she has had a slight stroke what ever that is? All I know is that she walks funny and has a funny smirk on her face. But she still acts like that same ol Daisy Mae I know and love. Either way my dads are worried about her. I just have to keep reminding them that she is the wonder dog and nothing gets her to her. So for now I'm keeping her close and taking care of her.

How we got here~ by Daisy Mae Beagle

I came to live with my dads when I was only 12 weeks old. My one dad Andy had beagles when he was a kid and my other dad David just really loved beagles. They were living on Georgia at the time and found an ad for beagles in the paper. Well, they went to the place with the beagles and oh my goodness there were over 60 beagles there. The man and woman who had them taught them all how to hunt and they had 3 litters of puppies at the time. I got picked out of all of them. I can't imagine why, I totally ignored them when they were there. I just wanted to play with my brothers and sisters. But they picked me!!! They took me home and it's been lots of fun ever since. Check out my picture, I was the cutest puppy ever!

Now Peanut came to live with us when she was over a year old. My dads rescued her from some bad people who hit her when she barked. She was so afraid when she came home and did not want to play with me.....it took her a lone time to relax and feel comfortable and to realize that my dads would not hit her EVER. They put her on the couch and snuggled with her and made her feel loved and I think that is why she likes the couch so much. Here is the earliest picture I could find of Peanut. She has been my bestest friend in the whole world and no doggie anywhere can bark at cows like her. Check her out, she was a cutie.

Daisy Here-Sorry we haven't posted in a while, it's been real hot here in Washington State and me and Peanut have been trying to keep cool. But it's finally cooled down and were able to sleep without that blasted wind machine blowing on us all the time. Check out a picture dad took of me snoozing on the couch. Don't tell Peanut, she wouldn't like that. HA HA! I ask dad to scan some puppy pictures, since he is always telling people I was the cutest puppy in the whole world. Peanut here! Well we went camping again this past weekend. We went way up in the mountains to Mt Baker Lake. It was so pretty. My dads went fishing and me and Daisy Mae hung out with them. We even meet two other beagles. Dad said they were lemon beagles, but they just smelled liked dogs to me. One was really cute, he sang to me. But not as good as when I bark at cows. There were these little squirrels that my dad keep feeding almonds too, they were so cute. They sang too, but not as good as me :) I hope we go again soon and take more bug spray this time, the flies and skeeters were a pain in the butt.

Peanut here :We went camping this weekend. Now I have no idea what camping is, but our dads made us sleep in this weird little house outside. They did bring our "bankies" so it seemed like home but not really. But it was kind of cool. My favorite place was the little house.
Daisy's was this big rock where she dug a big hole and got all dirty. She really liked that.

Little did she know that we would get a bath the next day because of all the dirt. Dad said we smelled bad, I thought I was finally smelling pretty good.

And speaking of smelling bad we were riding in the car when all of a sudden my two dads started yelling about a bear. There was this momma bear and her two cubs trying to climb this tree right beside the road. And they smelled real bad. Daisy and I tried to talk to them but they got all scared and the momma bear didn't like us looking at her cubs (I was able to get a picture of the momma bear but the cubs climbed up the tree before I could get a shot of them) and she really didn't want to talk to us so dad drove off real fast before they could get in the car. Maybe they wanted a ride but my dads didn't think was was a good idea.

And oh my god did they go on and on about it. My one dad got all weird when we got back to the little house that he said he had to commune with nature(rolling eyes). Here is a picture of him sitting on a rock and making a weird humming sound.

I really thought he could sing better that that. All in all it was a fun week end (except for they bath).

ps. the best was when Daisy sneeked out of the house after we had the bath and rolled in the dirt. They did not think that was funny at all, but I did.

Ok so this is Daisy Mae here, this past weekend was great. We took a ride in the car and I got to roll in some great smelling stuff. I thought we were going to just go somewhere so Peanut can bark at cows (rolling my eyes) but we went fishing. Now I have no idea what fishing is, but my two dads just sat by this big waterdish and and kept throwing this string in the water. If you ask me they weren't very good at it because it kept coming back to them. Any way there was this great patch of grass that had something I couldn't quite place(either dead fish or goose poopie) in it. But boy did it smell great, so I rolled in it and had me a good ol time. I don't think my dads were amused, they made me get in the water which was real cold. Then we had a fun game of catch me if you can. Again they were NOT amused. So I had to show you my picture. My dad had no idea when he took this that I wasn't just being all cute. Little did they know.

Ok here is what I want to know......why can't I get on the couch more? For some reason it a big no no to get on the couch. But they get on the couch all the time and I live her also so why can't i get on the couch? I like sleeping on the couch almost as much as I like to ride in the car and bark at cows. I think we should have a family meeting to discuss this, but they think I'm just being silly. Maybe if I "marked" it they wouldn't want to get on it anymore and it would be all mine.
